CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- After a woman's body is found beaten and stabbed in a Chattanooga hotel room, police say they've issued a warrant for a suspect.
Meco Siler was found Thursday afternoon by a housekeeper.
Witnesses tell Eyewitness News 29-year-old Siler lived at the hotel.
Siler's mother, Brenda Young, says she is literally numb at this point after losing her second child to violence.
She hopes police can close this case and find the killer as she tries to find closure.
A chaotic and emotional scene outside the Country Hearth Suites in Chattanooga as the body of Meco Siler was rolled into an ambulance in front of friends and family.
A day after the tragedy, her mother sat down with Eyewitness News trying to come to grips that her second child was killed.
She says she isn't sure who or why, someone would do this.
"From the time she was a little girl up to 29, I don't know of anyone that wanted to hurt her, nobody," says Brenda Young.
Police flooded the hotel around 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
The call came as a housekeeper discovered Siler's body in a room.
Police say Siler was badly beaten and stabbed repeatedly.
Young lost her youngest son over four years ago when he was shot to death.
Still dealing with that loss, she says Meco's murder is last thing she can take.
"I said this couldn't be real, I just went through this four years ago," says Young.
Police say they have leads on a suspect and young says she will do everything she can to remain stable and strong.
In the meantime, she says forgiveness is something she is still searching for.
"I'm not ready to forgive and I don't know who did it, but I hope they catch him," says Young. "I'm not ready to forgive, I probably will one day."
Police say they have the fugitive task force searching for the suspect.
Brenda Young says she will set up a fund in Meco's name to help pay for funeral arrangements.
