Chattanooga, TN (WRCB) -- Police say a messy situation went down in the frozen food aisle of the Brainerd Walmart after a woman was hit with a jar of queso cheese dip.

"She (the victim) had nothing to do with the incident that occurred. She happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time," says Chattanooga Police spokesperson Officer Rebecca Royval.

The victim, 40-year-old Robin Brown was the unintended target of an altercation between a Walmart employee and a customer who knew him.

The employee was with a female and a three week old child and police say employee told the suspect, 25-year-old Timothy Keith Jr., to leave.

That's when Keith came back into the aisle and threw a jar of queso, missing the employee. Instead hitting Brown.

"It's a shame you can't even go grocery shopping without worrying about this," says Officer Royval.

That's when Keith fled and Brown was taken to Erlanger and treated for a broken nose and facial injuries.

Police said whenever there is an altercation, you should find security for help.

"Of course this woman was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But you should find someone of authority to try to break it up," Royval added.

Police have not yet arrested Keith Jr. His last known address is 110 W Ridgewood Ave #B6 in Red Bank. He is wanted for aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
