DALTON, GA. (WRCB)-- A suspect in the November string of Dalton robberies was arrested Saturday after he attempted to rob another store.

Dalton Police say 24-year-old Raul Rangel-Alvarez entered Carneceria Loa II, a store he previously robbed, pulled a gun and demanded money.

The clerk complied, but the store owner had other plans. The armed store owner chased Rangel-Alvarez out of the front door, tackled him and held him down till police arrived.

The suspect was armed with a silver-colored air soft BB gun.

Rangel-Alvarez is charged with two counts of armed robbery in connection with the two incidents at the Carneceria Loa II.

He also faces four additional charges of armed robbery from November incidents.
