Chattanooga detective dies unexpectedly
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- The Chattanooga Police Department is mourning the loss of a detective this week.
Investigator James Hostetter died unexpectedly Wednesday morning.
Eyewitness News was told he fell ill on Tuesday.
He thought it was flu related, but it turned out to be a blockage in his lungs.
Hostetter served 15-years on the police force.
He was 51-years-old.
