Amazon.com officially coming to Tennessee
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Governor Phil Bredesen announced Monday that Amazon.com will officially opened two fulfillment centers in Tennessee.
One will open at Enterprise South Industrial Park in Chattanooga and the other in Bradley County along State Route 308.
A combined total of $139 million will be invested in the new facilities with up to 1,400 new jobs to be created in the next three years.
They will also offer hundreds of seasonal jobs during peak season.
The new fulfillment centers are expected to be operational before the 2011 holiday season.
