COLLEGEDALE, HAMILTON COUNTY (WRCB) - Collegedale Police say they're trying to track a fugitive who's slipped from their fingers twice!

21 year old Lance Baker is charged with aggravated sexual assault.Police have attempted to arrest him at his house on Central Avenue in Collegedale and while he was on the job.

Police say both times Baker managed to bolt before they could arrest him.  Investigators say friends and family are helping him avoid police.A woman who told us she was Baker's mother said he wasn't around when we asked for him Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a 17 year old girl told them Baker assaulted her when she was visiting his brother.  She says he used a knife to threaten her to take off her clothes.

Neighbors say the charges are troubling.

Judy Healey lives next door.  She says, "Yes it is, because there's a lot of widows on this street and older people it's alarming."

Kelly Miller says, "His brother and his friend say he didn't do it, if he didn't' he might wanna turn himself in."

This isn't Baker's first tangle with police he has a list of prior charges including theft, evading police and assaulting a police officer.  If you see Baker, or know where he may be, Call Crime Stoppers at 698--3333.
