CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - It's been non-stop for Governor-Elect Bill Haslam. He is back in the Scenic City Thursday.

At a news conference at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Haslam said "it's all about hiring the right staff and asking a lot of questions."

The governor-elect says he's touring the state to find the members to make up his new cabinet.

Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey joined Haslam in the news conference before having lunch with local elected leadership from all over Southeast Tennessee.

Wednesday Haslam met with sitting Governor Phil Bredesen in Nashville.

The men talked transition and team building.

Governor Bredesen says he is leaving the state in as good a shape as he knows how, hoping to help ease Haslam into his new role come January.

The governor-elect says he hopes to announce his transition team in the next two to three days.

Haslam will return to the capital Thursday afternoon.
