FORT OGLETHORPE, GA. (WRCB) -- Fort Oglethorpe Police Chief, David Eubanks, said 35-year-old Kristopher Dean will be in big trouble once police get a hold of him.

He's accused of not only tearing through a fence, but he also plowed into the front of the "Factory-X" building.

Police said he then put his van in reverse and backed into the building next to a Defensive Driving School on Thomas Road, Friday evening.

The school desk clerk, Pat Wright, said, "It is just a pity they had to hit it."

Wright said she was thankful to be at work Monday.

She thought the school would close for good because of the damage.

Police said a witness saw Dean and his girlfriend drive the van through the buildings all while huffing chemicals out an aerosol can.

Dean is wanted in Catoosa and Walker counties for a number of traffic related crimes.

Eubanks said he has a record of driving dangerously and running off.

Investigators later found his vehicle near the Chickamauga Battlefield.

Chief Eubanks said, "We actually had witnesses say the male driver got out the truck to look at the damage then drove away."

A tipster led police to a possible hideout before he slipped away.

Wright said she hopes Dean pays.

"He should have to pay for the damage he has done," she added.

Dean is facing a laundry list of charges including reckless driving and not having insurance.

Police said they need the public's help on finding him and want you to call the Fort Oglethorpe Police at 706-866-2544 if you know where he is at.
