CALHOUN, Ga. (WRCB) -- It was the biggest night for Dade County football in more than a decade, but Dustin Christian stole the spotlight to earn Friday Night Football Subway Player of the Week honors.
The Calhoun running back broke loose for 190 yards and three touchdowns to help the Yellow Jackets win the battle of Region 7-AA (B) unbeatens 43-8. He averaged more than 10 yards per carry against a Wolverine defense that had recorded five shutouts in its first seven games this season.
Christian's effort, which included a stunning something-out-of-nothing 27-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, helped Calhoun lock up the region championship with its 20th straight win over Dade County.

-- Baylor's Jacobr Huesman rushed for 98 yards, threw for 145 yards, and totaled four touchdowns in the Red Raiders 41-29 loss to Ensworth
