Crime Stoppers: Home surveillance catches burglar in the act

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Chattanooga police are looking for a man who was caught on camera burglarizing a home.

The incident occurred back in September on East 16th Street. 

The owner of the home had surveillance cameras in place, which shows the suspect pushing in a window to gain access to the residence.

Police say the suspect stole over a $1000 worth items from the home including a yellow Polar chain saw, miscellaneous Craftsman tools and a 22" Vizio flat screen television.

The suspect is a white male between the ages of 35 and 45.  He is shown wearing blue jeans, a grey t-shirt and a ball cap.  He has dark brown or black hair and it is believed that he may live somewhere in the neighborhood.
