CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Around 3:30 Tuesday morning, Chattanooga police were notified of a shooting victim that had arrived by personal vehicle to Erlanger Medical Center.

Investigators say the shooting occurred at 1706 Dodds Avenue in the parking lot of the Stop N Go.

The victim, Michael Kilgore, along with two other witnesses, say they had been the Fox and Hound Restaurant,  when an unknown black male asked for a ride to Wilcox Boulevard.

They took the suspect to the Stop N Go and dropped him off.   The suspect became angry because the victim and his friends would not take him to Wilcox Boulevard.  He pulled out a gun and began shooting towards the victim.

Mr. Kilgore was shot in the stomach.  The suspect fled on foot.
