UPDATED: 2 shot outside bar in Chattanooga, arrest made

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -  Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting on East Main Street after two people were shot.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. in front of a club called "Xscape".

According to police, 18-year-old Dennis Moore opened fire on the crowd in front of the club.

Two people were hit in the incident. One 17-year-old male was stuck in the knee, and another 16-year-old was shot in the toe.

Both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Moore was later found by officers at his residence and taken to the Police Services Center on Amnicola Highway where he was interviewed about the incident.

He confessed to the shooting and stated it involved an argument with a rival gang.

Dennis Moore was charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment.
