Judge steps down in Valentine's Day Murder trial

CLEVELAND, BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- The case against a defendant in the Valentine's Day murder is on hold until a new judge can be appointed.
Bradley Criminal Court Judge Amy Reedy stepped down from the trial of Michael Younger.
At first, Judge Amy Reedy denied the District Attorney General's request that she recuse herself.
Monday, she voluntarily recused herself for "the integrity of the case", citing courtroom conduct by prosecutors.
Younger is one of three suspects charged in the 1999 murders of OJ Blair, Cayci Higgins and Dawn Rogers.
A mistrial was declared in Younger's case in May.
he was scheduled for retrial October 5-th.
