Serial robbery suspect arrested

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – A man police say was responsible for a series of robberies in the Chattanooga area is behind bars.

Joshua Jamoris Daniels was arrested by the Chattanooga Fugitive Division Thursday around 5:40 p.m. at 2500 Campbell Street.

According to police, the 21-year-old Daniels, was wanted for his role in crimes on Lisa Gaye Lane on September 6th, Winding Lane on September 9th, and Patterson Road, Metro Park Lane and Morton Drive on September 10th.

Daniels is expected to be charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and theft over $500.

Chattanooga Police say they received help in the capture from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, TBI., US Marshall's Service, FBI and the Red Bank Police Department.
