CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- A judge granted diversion for a Soddy Daisy teacher charged with DUI.
In May, Joshua Roberts crashed his car on Hixson Pike, early on a Sunday morning.
Wednesday, Roberts told the judge he completed DUI school. He must now pay a fine and perform five public work days. Criminal charges are typically dropped when a defendant successfully completes a diversion program.
Roberts is a social studies teacher and assistant football coach.
