BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- Bradley County Sheriff's detectives are asking the public for help identifying a suspect in the September 4 robbery of Preferred Family Pharmacy in Charleston.
Two employees who were closing the business for the day said the suspect, who they described a skinny, white male wearing a ball cap and blue bandanna, walked up to the counter where one of the employees was standing and demanded "all the Percocet and roxy."
The employee placed bottles of Endocet and Oxycodone into a small basket. She offered to transfer the bottles to a paper sack which the suspect refused, apologized, and left with the basket and narcotics.
The employees said the suspect told them that he was armed but he never showed a weapon.
Sheriff Jim Ruth and Capt. Brian Quinn have authorized payment of a reward of up to $100 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.
Surveillance photos show the suspect at the counter of a nearby convenience store a short time before the robbery. Other photos outside the pharmacy show the vehicle he was in and his accomplice that acted as the getaway driver.
Anyone who believes they recognize either of these individuals is asked to contact the Bradley County Sheriff's Office. You can use the Crime Tip Hotline, that number is 423-728-7336, and you don't have to leave your name.
