CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - New jobs are coming to Chattanooga. Channel 3 Eyewitness News has learned that HomeServe USA plans to add a new customer care center in Chattanooga. The company provides home warranty and repair services. The company will be located in an 18,000 square-foot space at The Pointe Centre on Premiere Drive.
In a news release, CEO Jonathan King said, "locating this facility in a community like Chattanooga was a big part of our goal for this investment."
"When one of our customers needs support, we want them to have the reassurance of being assisted by a representative here in the U.S. We narrowed our search to Chattanooga based on availability of high quality employees, the ease of working with the local officials, and the next-generation telecommunications and data infrastructure available here."
"We welcome HomeServe to our community," Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield added in the news release.
"Our cooperative economic development efforts continue to create new jobs. Chattanooga is the center of a growing region and this investment proves as much."
"This investment by HomeServe is welcome news for the people in our community," added Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey.
"As many families are struggling to make ends meet, I'm proud of our community's ability to partner with private sector companies like HomeServe to generate new employment opportunities for the people of Hamilton County."
If you are interested in a job with HomeServe, you should apply in person at a Job Fair scheduled for Wednesday September 22 and Thursday September 23rd, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Residence Inn Chattanooga Near Hamilton Place, 2340 Center Street.
