Former TN priest faces more sexual abuse charges

BLOUNTVILLE, TN. (AP) - A grand jury in Sullivan County has indicted a former Roman Catholic priest on criminal sexual conduct and aggravated rape charges.

The charges are the latest against 76-year-old William Casey stemming from accusations of sexual abuse over 30 years ago.

Warren Tucker of Jeffersonville, Ind., has said Casey abused him for five years, beginning in 1975 when he was a fifth-grader at St. Dominic's church in Kingsport, TN. He said some of that abuse took place on trips to other states.

Casey was arrested on Friday afternoon at his home in Greeneville, the Kingsport Times News reported. He was indicted last month in Scott County, Va., on charges of forcible sodomy and indecent liberties with a minor.

Casey pleaded guilty in July to crimes against nature in North Carolina. He was given 24 months of supervised probation.
