BRADLEY COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- A long-time Bradley County Commissioner, Roy Smith, died Tuesday morning, at the age of 81.
Smith served nearly 28 years as the district six commissioner, before resigning in December due to his failing health.
His wife, Willodyne, was appointed to fill the seat until his term expired. The new commissioner will be sworn in on Wednesday.
County Mayor Gary Davis says Smith's "passing is a great loss to the community. He was a dedicated public servant."
Fike Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
If you want to bring the entire family to Disney World, you can now bring along your four-legged child.
