EAST RIDGE, TN. (WRCB)-- East Ridge Police are looking for a father and son who were involved in yet another crime at a controversial motel.
East Ridge Police tell me they responded to a call at about 11:30 Saturday night at Superior Creek Lodge.
They found a man near the motel elevator bleeding from the head, mouth and nose.
"Witnesses have said that he was hit several times and knocked to the ground and was kicked several times when he was on the ground. Other reports even indicate that someone attempted to hit him with a brick, but that never occurred. Someone stepped in and may have stopped that from happening," says Officer Erik Hopkins.
Police say a father and son beat the victim over the sale or purchase of drugs.
Warrants have been issued for 18-year-old James Conley and 44-year-old Jimmie Conley.
If you have any information on where either man is, contact the East Ridge Police Department.
Eyewitness News tried to talk to the owner of Superior Creek Lodge and he did not want to comment, but we should hear from them on September 13th when they appear in court.
We'll be there for that hearing, in regards to the City of East Ridge filing papers last week to get the motel shutdown.
