Chattanooga (WRCB) - A Hamilton County Grand Jury will hear the case against a man police say is responsible for a slew of burglaries in North Chattanooga.

Chattanooga detectives say they have surveillance video of suspect Ricky Davis, his sister Lisa Davis, and Perry Kearse using a credit card just one hour after it was reported stolen.

Three victims testified to seeing a green Ford Taurus fleeing the scene of different burglaries and robberies in North Chattanooga.

One victim said the man shot at him and left in that green car.  Another victim says the suspect held her at gunpoint and stole two laptops from her home.

"He told me to tell police the blacks in East Lake need jobs," another victim tells the court.

"I just wanna say, they basically looking at Ricky passed burglaries, they don't have no kind evidence on these men," Lisa Davis, sister of Ricky Davis says.

Detectives testified to finding a victim's laptop at the home of Davis' mother.

Judge Clarence Shattuck sent the case against Davis and Kearse to the Grand Jury.
