New hearing set for Pet Company

By WRCB Staff

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- A mall pet store will be back in court next week.

A Judge set a new hearing, for the Pet Company, on August 18th.

Last month, Judge Sherry Paty rescued herself, accusing Mayor Littlefield of trying to sway her decision.

A Judge from Middle Tennessee was appointed to the case and set the first hearing for August 18th.

In June, McKamey Animal Center raided the store and seized dozens of animals. Many of those animals tested positive for a dangerous parasite.
