BRADLEY COUNTY (WRCB)-- The Bradley County Sheriff's Office is continuing an investigation of two weekend home invasions that resulted in the apprehension of two suspects by patrol deputies.

On Saturday, deputies responded to a home on northeast 4th Street where two men forced entry through a locked rear door and confronted the resident outside his bedroom.

During conversation one of the intruders threatened to harm the resident if he made any effort to contact law enforcement about a laptop computer that was stolen recently.

Based on information provided by the victim, Stephen Jacob Reed, aka Jacob Gaddis, 18, of New Murraytown Road, and Jacob Dakota Campbell, 18, of Ramsey Bridge Road, were taken into custody.  Both were charged by the criminal investigations division with aggravated burglary and assault.

No property was taken.

On Sunday a home invasion was reported on Burke Road.  Two men at the residence reported they answered a knock at the door and were attacked by two men armed with sticks and knives.  Both victims went to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
