ALTAMONT, GRUNDY COUNTY (WRCB) - The Director of Schools for Grundy County tells Eyewitness News that registration and the first day of school have been pushed back.
Registration was supposed to be Wednesday, it's now a week from Monday, August ninth.
And the first day of classes will be August eleventh.
Clay Newsome says lightning caused damage to an elementary school last week, and a cafeteria is still under renovation at another elementary school, hence the delay for all Grundy County Schools.
