Police probe Tennessee River drowning
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Police are investigating the apparent drowning of a 27-year-old man, who died in the Tennessee River.
The drowning occurred early between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Sunday.
The victim's name is not being released, pending notification of family. Police say rescue personnel pulled him from the river about two hours after the drowning was reported.
The major crimes unit of the Huntsville Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the death.
