CHICKAMAUGA, GA (WRCB) - At five o'clock in the morning, West Cove Road in Chickamauga was jam packed with cars, and fans waiting for Robert Pattinson to make his movie debut in Chickamauga.

We were there as Robert Pattinson rolled into North Georgia Friday. He was greeted by adoring fans who just wanted to get a glimpse of the super star.

"I am just hoping to get footage of Robert. I don't want to stalk him. I don't want to bother him. I just want him to know we support him completely," says fan Rose Troy.

The filming started early. And Channel 3 Eyewitness News (WRCBtv.com) captured the only shots of the star's scenes on Friday morning.

In fact, the crew shot the sun rising in a field across the street from the home that will be featured in the movie.

Then Pattinson made his debut on the set. He walked around the side of what is considered his home in the film Water for Elephants.

Pattinson shot a scene inside the home on West Cove Road and walked out the front door carrying a hat, and a suitcase.

Fans tried to watch the filming, but much of their view was blocked by trees, and security guards.

Luckily, some fans caught a glimpse of the Hollywood star, something many of them have been dreaming about for weeks.

"There is just something special about him. His jaw, his eyes, his eyebrows. He is just a beautiful man," Rose says.

Pattinson should finish shooting at the house Friday. He plans on shooting at another location here in Chickamauga. And finally, they will shoot at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.

We will keep you posted on any updates.
