LIVELINES: ALLERGY CALLS
As families try to get in those last summer vacations the school nutrition association kicked off its national conference this week testing new food items from more than 400 vendors.
While some of the new items may look appetizing, for some kids the school cafeteria can be a dangerous place.
Allergist, Dr. Lee Perry from the Chattanooga Allergy Clinic was our guest.
He said food allergies are a big problem for a lot of his patients.
Dr. Perry went on to say its important for people to get tested if you are having reactions and find out exactly what you are allergic to so you can take steps to prevent a serious reaction.
