CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - WRCB Weekend Meteorologist Neal Pascal will do his final forecast for the television station on Sunday. Pascal has begun a career in teaching. Neal has taken his science knowledge to the classroom in teaching 8th grade students at Lake Forrest Middle School in Bradley County. Neal says he will simultaneously pursue a Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Lee University.

Neal said, "After speaking to students for years about the weather in classrooms, this will be a chance to broaden the subject of science. I intend to show them how learning science will help in their daily lives and careers. I thank Channel 3 for welcoming me into their family these past few years."

WRCB President and General Manager Tom Tolar added, "We support Neal in this next phase of his career. He has added a great deal of expertise to the Storm Alert Team in his time with us. We wish him the best."

Meteorologist Nick Austin, from WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee, will join the television station next weekend to replace Pascal.

Channel 3 viewers are wishing Neal well on the station's Facebook page. You can too by clicking here.
