ABINGDON, Va. (AP) - A Tennessee woman who involved her daughter and granddaughter in an oxycontin distribution scheme has been ordered to serve 10 years in a federal prison.

U.S. Attorney Timothy J. Heaphy announced Wednesday that in addition to jail time, 63-year-old Nancy Bell of Maynardsville, TN, must serve three years of supervised release and forfeit $1,776.

Bell had pleaded guilty to several charges involving the distribution of oxycontin from her daughter's Jonesville, Va., home.

Bell's 45-year-old daughter Iris Gibson, and Gibson's 22-year-old daughter Misty Parker of Bristol, Va., also were sentenced.

The three were among eight people sentenced on charges relating to the distribution scheme that prosecutors said occurred January 2004 and December 2009.
