Joran van der Sloot arrives in Lima, Peru
LIMA, Peru (AP) - The young Dutchman wanted in murder of a 21-year-old Lima woman has arrived in Peru's capital.
Joran van der Sloot also remains the lone suspect in the 2005 disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway on a Caribbean island.
He was driven swiftly into the garage of Peru's criminal police headquarters in a brown Interpol SUV. A police news conference is planned.
Chile deported van der Sloot on Friday, a day after capturing him near a police checkpoint.
Chilean police say he told them he did not kill Stephany Flores, who was found dead on Sunday in his Lima hotel room, her neck broken.
Peruvian police say witnesses saw the two, who met at a nearby casino, enter the room together and van der Sloot leave alone.
