Two wrecks leave three TN Valley residents dead.

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- Three Tennessee Valley residents lost their lives on Tuesday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The first accident occurred just before 6am Central on Suck Creek Rd in Marion County. Casey Kilgore of Palmer was driving south on Suck Creek Rd when he struck a tree. Kilgore was pronounced on the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.

The second accident occurred just after Noon Central in Sequatchie County. Christopher Colston, 25, of Sewanee TN and Jessica Layne, 25 of Tracy City, TN, were traveling South on HWY 111 near mile marker 26 when they hit a second vehicle head on. The second vehicle was driven by John Baynes, III , 45, of Dunlap. Colston and Layne were pronounced on the scene. Baynes is listed in critical condition. Officers believe alcohol was a factor and none were wearing seatbelts.
