Chattanooga, Tenn. (WRCB) Opportunity may be on the horizon for Trayvon Robinson of the Chattanooga Lookouts. On Friday, Andre Ethier, the triple crown contending Dodgers outfielder, suffered a broken finger in a pre-game batting session.
If he is placed on the DL promotions are expected to trickle down L.A.'s farm system
The most likely, to be called up to the bigs, would be Triple-A standout, Xavier Paul. Paul didn't play on Saturday after being hit by a thrown ball before the game, but he's expected back in the lineup on Monday.
If Paul is called up, that would leave an opening in Triple-A.
There's been much talk to see if Robinson is ready for the jump. Either way the Lookouts will see a domino affect of changes if Ethier is placed on the DL. Through Saturday Robinson is batting .248 with 3 homeruns and 15 RBI.
