Charges Pending in High Speed Crash
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) -- Chattanooga police clocked a car driving in excess of 100 miles per hour just before it crashed and injured several people.
A traffic officer clocked a white Ford Taurus traveling 106 mph. The officer tried to stop the car on Lee Highway. But the car ran the red light at Lee and Bonny Oaks, struck another car, lost control, and struck a steel pole and a parked vehicle in a convenience store parking lot.
The driver, Lorra Moore, and her passenger, were both hurt in the crash. Police say after Moore is released from the hospital, she will face a number of charges.
