Two Arrested for Hotel Robbery; Still Looking for Third Person

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)--Chattanooga Police have made 2 arrests in the early morning robberies of 3 local hotels.

Gaylon Williams and Jasmine Davis have been charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy to commit armed robbery, in connection with the robberies of the Country Inn at 1920 Hamill Rd, Hampton Inn 6145 Weir Way and the Country Inn Suites at 7051 McCutcheon Rd.

Police are looking for the 3rd suspect in these armed robberies, he is described as a black male street name "Skeeter" 6'0 in height, 220 pounds mustache and slight beard. black long sleeve t-shirt, blue jeans, armed with a silver and black pistol.

Just after midnight police responded to 3 separate calls of 2 B/M suspects who would enter the hotels at gunpoint and make threats to the clerks and demand the money.

Police were provided a description of a small white vehicle as the suspect vehicle which thru good police work and investigation was determined to belong to Jasmine Davis.

Jasmine Davis was found in the vehicle on Shallowford Rd and Gaylon Williams was apprehended on Hoyt St. after police received information he was at a residence on Hoyt St. Police responded to Hoyt St and when identified themselves as police officers, Gaylon Williams was seen standing at the window armed with a handgun, additional units were sent to Hoyt St and Williams was talked out of the residence without incident.

Police are asking anyone recognizing this suspect or having information on these robberies is asked to call Chattanooga Police at 698-2525 or Crime Stoppers at 698-3333.
