LIVELINES: LEGAL HEALTH CARE QUESTIONS
Both sides continue to turn up the volume in the health care fight.
President Obama was in Iowa yesterday talking to voters about why the new legislation is good for their health.
Meanwhile, congress has made history completing the overhaul of the U-S health care system.
The final measure now goes to the President for his signature.
Attorney James Cantanzaro Jr. Specializes in health and health care law. He was our guest this morning.
He says the big issue with some states filing suit or threatening to do so over mandates that everyone buy insurance may be difficult for the states to win. He also said that when it comes to winners and losers with this situation, those without coverage stand to gain a lot, but future premium costs could also be a big concern. Attorney Cantanzaro when on to say he thinks when the dust settles there won't be as big a concern for senior citizens worried about cuts in their benefits.
