Some people are still trying to catch up on that lost hour of sleep after we just sprung forward this past weekend.

Today, more and more people are actually beginning to turn to natural sleep aids for a variety of different reasons.

While natural treatments for sleep disorders have been around for years, many people are now more interested in them.

Ed Jones From Nutrition World was our guest.

Ed says people are generally sleep deprived, but he is seeing more people dealing with this problem. He also stressed sleep is not a luxury. Ed gave the following tips if you are having problems sleeping..

-have doctor rule out health problems

-take 1 mg melatonin each night before bedtime

-don't go to bed hungry

-take 500 to 1000 of trytophane before bed each night
