WHITFIELD COUNTY, GA (WRCB)--Due to Friday's afternoon storms, there are many down trees in Whitfield County.

According to Jeffrey Putnam, Whitfield EMA Director, Whitfield County has received 18 to 24 inches of hail. Also, about 100 tress have fallen.

Significant storm this afternoon thru the Dogwood Valley area (at the Catoosa county line) & Tunnel Hill, says Putnam.

Damage path is a straight line moving East to Northwest.

Two barns have had their roofs blown off and one mobile home has been destroyed.

At this time, no injuries have been reported.
