Paul's Weather Blog: Most received "what I was thinking."

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Chief Meteorologist Paul Barys and the entire Storm Alert Team have been watching this winter system since last week. We began Tuesday morning with live weather updates at 3:00 a.m. and a live newscast at 4:30 a.m. and team coverage. Paul offers this update:

The heaviest snow is over with.  We may see a few flurries for the remainder of tonight and into Wednesday, but no more accumulation.  This was an interesting snow storm.  Most of TN received what I was thinking, about a Tr to an inch.  Some spots east of Chattanooga received more nearly 4 in Polk County.  A good 2-4 inches fell in many spots in GA and NC.  Alabama had some 2-4 inch amounts.  But the most I could find was Lookout Mtn where near the TN border 7-8" fell.  A warming trend will start fot the rest of this week and into the weekend with more sunshine.  So enjoy!
