GUEST SEGMENT: FOOT CONCERNS
Your feet are the foundation of your body, and if they are out of alignment, it can cause problems throughout your body. That's the case for about 20-30 percent of people across the country. They suffer from a condition known as flat foot. It is an informal reference to a medical condition in which the arch of the foot collapses, with the entire sole of the foot coming into complete or near-complete contact with the ground.
Our guest this morning was Orthopedic Specialist Dr. Jason Wamack from Center For Sports Medicine.
Some symptoms to look for are..
-pain and discomfort
-hard to walk
-foot turns inward.
Treatment may include using Orthotics such as an arch support, foot gymnastics or other exercises as recommended by a podiatrist or other physician.
