TENNESSEE VALLEY (WRCB)  The weather is causing serious problems on the roadway Friday morning.

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN

Signal Mtn Road closed at CVS. Traffic being detoured to W Road. Traffic is backed up all the way to Signal Mtn Town Hall. 

BRADLEY COUNTY

Blythe Ferry Road from Westview to Blueberry Hill closed, water on roadway.

Peach Orchard near Michigan Avenue water on roadway.

 

CATOOSA COUNTY

At I-75 S at Battlefield Pkwy, pothole in the center lane. No back-up reported yet.

Lakeview Drive water closed, water over roadway.

Pine Grove at Jacks Mattox water on roadway.

Boynton Drive water on roadway.

CHATTANOOGA

On I-24 Westbound, the rain has cause parts of the roadway to wash away in the right and center lanes.  Traffic in the area near mile marker 181 ( Fourth Ave. exit) is now down to one lane. 

On Lookout Mountain, Ochs Highway is now reopened.

In the 2000 block of 23rd St. between S. Orchard Knob and S. Willow a manhole is overflowing leaving water covering the road and manhole cover missing.

In the 7300 block of Sterling Road, between Fairbanks and Scouts Rds there is high water.   The Highway Department is putting out barricades.
