They smelled  marijuana coming from the passenger side of the car. Detectives found a number of baggies containing marijuana and one baggie with a white powder that field tested as ecstasy.

The four people in the car were transported to the Bradley County Sheriff's Office where they were charged with possession of schedule I drugs for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

They are Depal Arun Patel, 26, Chrysae Renae Robinson, 23, both of Lithia Springs Georgia, Michael Lee Gray, 25, and Leigh Ashley Baldwin, 21, both of Winston Georgia.

Patel is charged with following too close.

They are due back in court on November 3rd.

Hold on. The heat and humidity are going to continue through the weekend. Today, look for a high of 95 and a heat index near 100. We won't see the same coverage of storms that we saw last night, but with this much heat and humidity in place you never want to completely rule out one or two storms breaking through.More
