Four Arrested in I-75 Drug Bust

BRADLEY COUNTY (WRCB) -- Drug Enforcement detectives in Bradley County, Tennessee arrested four people from Georgia for drug possession.

 The arrests came after officers say a Mercedes with Georgia registration following dangerously close to a tractor trailer truck on I-75. Detectives made a traffic stop near the 27 mile marker. They smelled  marijuana coming from the passenger side of the car. Detectives found a number of baggies containing marijuana and one baggie with a white powder that field tested as ecstasy.

     The four people in the car were transported to the Bradley County Sheriff's Office where they were charged with possession of schedule I drugs for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.    

     They are Depal Arun Patel, 26, Chrysae Renae Robinson, 23, both of Lithia Springs Georgia, Michael Lee Gray, 25, and Leigh Ashley Baldwin, 21, both of Winston Georgia.

     Patel is charged with following too close.  

      They are due back in court on November 3rd.
