A Gilmer County, Georgia man faces charges in connection with an alleged dog fighting operation.
Law enforcement officers say Gerald Holcumb has been a central figure on the dog fighting circuit since 1966.
Holcumb is charged with felony dogfighting, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.
Officers seized 11 dogs, some with scars consistent with fighting.
