Unique approach to groundbreaking on Volkswagen Drive

By WRCB Staff

CHATTANOOGA, (WRCB) Erlanger officials took a unique approach to marking the beginning of a new building.

They held a ground opening opting for giant scalpels over shovels.

This kicks-off site work this month on the healthcare campus on Volkswagen Drive.

The 32-thousand square foot complex will house a gym, childcare facilities and medical services of several types.

It will service both employees of the Volkswagen plant and members of the community.
