CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)-- East Hamilton Middle/High School stadium boosters are holding a groundbreaking tailgating party for the proposed athletic stadium on Saturday, March 13th from 5-8pm.

Members of the community, students, parents, media, and local dignitaries are invited to attend and see the plans and future location for the athletic field.  Deeds for square yard parcels of the field will be sold for $50.  Guests purchasing deeds will have their names permanently displayed outside the stadium as well as receive a commemorative certificate.  Additionally, all who have purchased a deed to date will participate in a "Stake Your Claim" festivity by placing a flag on their plot of the field.

Guests may bring food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages or grab a $1 hot dog and Coke at the party. There will be a tailgating decoration contest plus other athletic activities such as flag football, volleyball, wiffle ball, and more.
