
Students at Charleston Elementary in Bradley County were evacuated from the school Tuesday after carbon monoxide sensors activated in one of the classrooms.
The Bradley County Fire Department responded and they determined fumes from outside painting had set off the detectors.
The fire department ventilated the building, and the students were allowed back inside about an hour and a half later.
Medical personal were available if any of the students complained of a headache or other symptoms but no one required treatment.
