CHATTANOOGA (WRCB)--In the drive for Volkswagen, progress is being made out at Enterprise South.
Wednesday, the contractor in charge of building the paint shop says work is a little ahead of schedule.
Right now, they're excavating the site in preparation to pour more concrete.
After that, the structural steel will be put in place for the 400-thousand square foot shop.
Crews fine tuned some areas ahead of the storm.
We also got a look inside the office space on Chestnut street, where 50-employees are now working.
150 will ultimately use this temporary space for about three years, until production begins and they move out to Enterprise South.
