Health officials say an outbreak of Norovirus in the Scenic City has been linked to a local restaurant.

Health department officials says 19 people reported the illness after eating at The Boathouse restaurant on Riverside Drive.

The victims reported eating there between January 12th and 18th.

A majority of them say they had oysters -- oysters that were harvested at Shellfish Growing Waters in Mississippi, between the dates of January 5th and 9th.

Health officials say oysters from this harvest were also served at Easy Bistro on Broad Street and Blue Orleans on Amnicola Highway.

But so far, no illnesses have been associated with those two restaurants.
