CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - Acting on a tip, Eyewitness News has discovered a sexual harrassment grievance filed by a Chattanooga City employee against her supervisor. The six pages filed last week with the City of Chattanooga accuse the Director of General Services, Paul Page, with sexual harrassment. Page is still employed but city officials confirm that the allegations are under investigation.
The accuser claims several inappropriate encounters over the past two years, some as recent as last week. The accuser claims Page made remarks about his sexual relationships, the physical characteristics of job applicants and about the accuser's weight. We contacted the City about these accusations. The Mayor's spokesman told Eyewitness News:
"These are allegations and this matter is under investigation by an independent investigator..."
Page has been employed by the city for 3 1/2 years. The accuser is also still employed with the city. We contacted Page for a comment. He has yet to respond. Eyewitness News will keep you updated on any new developments. It's Coverage You Can Count On.
