ATLANTA (AP) - Garrett Jones drove in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the 10th inning, lifting the Miami Marlins to a 3-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Monday night. Bryan Morris stranded two runners in a scoreless ninth. Steve Cishek pitched a perfect 10th inning for his 22nd save.

ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta Dream coach Michael Cooper has been diagnosed with early stage tongue cancer. The team says Cooper is taking a temporary leave of absence and will have surgery this week in Atlanta. The Dream say a full recovery is expected. Cooper is expected to miss about two weeks and assistant coach Karleen Thompson will fill in.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is moving its football championship game to Montgomery. The Division II league announced the move at its media day Monday. The game is scheduled to be played at Cramton Bowl for the next three seasons starting in 2014.
