CHATTANOOGA. (WRCB)-- Some school districts and businesses will be closed due to storm damage in the area.
Hamilton County Schools - All Schools Open. Normal Schedule Thursday.
Bradley County Schools- All schools will be closed through Friday, May 6th.
When classes resume, Blue Springs Elementary students will be placed at Waterville Community Elementary and Michigan Avenue Elementary students will be placed at First Baptist Church in Cleveland.
While schools are closed, officials say, it is important students take time to process the disaster with their loved-ones.
Also, kindergarten registration has been rescheduled, but a new date has not been announced.
Catoosa County Schools - Classes will resume on May 9th.
Ringgold Middle and High Schools students will attend class on the Heritage High School campus with the same teachers and students.
Students already attending Heritage will have class during morning hours and displaced Ringgold students will attend during afternoon hours, each splitting a school-day.
Ringgold High School's graduation ceremonies will take place, but the new location has not been determined.
All details will be posted on the Catoosa County School System's website once they are finalized.
Dade County Schools - Teachers and Staff Report at 8:00 AM on Thursday, May 5th. Students will return on Friday, May 6th. Dade Elementary will still hold Pre-K registration on May 10th.
Walker County Schools - Two hour delay on Thursday and Friday.
Jackson County Schools- Schools will be back in session on Thursday and Friday beginning at 10:00am on both days. Flat Rock, Rosalie, and Pisgah will remain closed until further notice.
